• First and last name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Type of insurance you're inquiring about
• Any details you include in the message or notes field
• Vehicle details and VIN, garaging address, and date of birth when you complete an auto insurance quote
• For the auto quote questionnaire: household driver names and dates of birth, vehicle ownership, ZIP code, auto insurance and driving history, renewal timing, and preferred call time
• Your contact-consent choice and the consent wording, submission time, IP address, and browser information associated with it

Information collected automatically: When you visit this website, certain data is automatically collected by analytics and advertising tools we use, including:

• Pages you visit and how long you spend on them
• How you arrived at this website (search engine, social media, direct)
• Your general geographic location (city/state level)
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• IP address (anonymized or hashed where required)
• Actions you take on the website (button clicks, form submissions)

4. Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Advertising

This website uses the Meta Pixel (also known as the Facebook Pixel), a tracking tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel is a piece of code that allows us to:

• Measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertisements
• Show our ads to people who have previously visited our website (remarketing/retargeting)
• Build "Custom Audiences" of website visitors for ad targeting
• Find new potential customers similar to our existing visitors ("Lookalike Audiences")
• Track specific actions on our website, such as quote form submissions

What the Meta Pixel collects: The Pixel automatically collects data including your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit on this website, and any actions you take (such as completing a quote form). If you are logged into Facebook or Instagram, Meta may associate this browsing activity with your Facebook profile.

How Meta uses this data: Meta Platforms, Inc. processes this data according to its own Privacy Policy. We have entered into Meta's data processing terms as required for use of the Pixel.

When you submit the auto quote questionnaire, we may also send a conversion event through Meta's Conversions API. It includes hashed email, phone, name, and ZIP code, along with browser/click identifiers, IP address, and user agent for ad measurement and matching. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. Driver dates of birth, vehicle details, and insurance history are not included in that conversion payload.

How to opt out: You can control whether Meta uses your data for advertising purposes through the following:

• Facebook Ad Preferences: Log in to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Ads → Ad Preferences to control how Meta uses your data for ads.
• Off-Facebook Activity: At facebook.com/off_facebook_activity you can view and clear the off-Facebook activity Meta has received about you, and disconnect future off-Facebook activity from your account.
• Industry opt-out: Visit aboutads.info or networkadvertising.org to opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies.
• Browser Do Not Track: Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" signal. Note that the Meta Pixel may not honor this signal.

This website uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about how visitors use the site — including pages viewed, time on site, and general geographic location. Google Analytics does not identify you personally. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Third-Party Services

Quote requests submitted through this website are transmitted to AgencyZoom, a CRM (customer relationship management) platform used by our agency to manage client communications. AgencyZoom's privacy policy is available at agencyzoom.com.

Information submitted through the auto quote completion form is sent through Zapier, an automation service used to deliver those details to our agency's quote workflow. This may include your contact information, vehicle details and VIN, garaging address, and date of birth.

When you start an auto quote, your contact details, ZIP code, consent record, and advertising attribution are saved with the quote request. If you do not finish, those details may be sent to our agency's lead workflow after 10 minutes so our team can follow up. Completed quote details are sent when you finish the form. When Meta conversion tracking is enabled, hashed contact identifiers and Meta click/browser identifiers may also be sent to Meta to measure advertising results.

If you proceed with obtaining insurance coverage, your information will be shared with Farmers Insurance and its affiliated underwriters as required to issue a policy. Farmers Insurance's privacy policy governs that use.

7. Data Retention

Contact and quote request information is retained in our CRM system for as long as necessary to provide insurance services or as required by applicable law. If you would like your information removed, contact us at jwidjaja@farmersagent.com.

The form also saves your in-progress answers in your browser's local storage for up to 24 hours so you can resume after a refresh. A unique resume link lets you return to a quote after starting Step 1. The local draft is cleared after a successful submission. Avoid entering personal information on shared devices, or clear your browser's site data when finished.

8. California Residents — CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights

This website is served over HTTPS. Quote form submissions are transmitted securely. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
