James Widjaja didn't start his career in insurance. He started with a belief: that people deserve to understand what they're paying for. When he founded Widjaja Insurance Agency in 1999, the insurance industry was full of agents who sold policies as fast as possible and moved on. James took a different approach.
He sat down with every client. He drew out policy structures on whiteboards. He explained deductibles, exclusions, and coverage limits until each person felt confident they were truly protected — not just insured.
That approach doesn't just build trust — it builds a career. Over 27 years, James has earned 20 Topper Club awards (top 10% of Farmers agents nationwide), 10 Championship Member distinctions (top 2%), and set the record for the largest life insurance case in the entire history of Farmers Insurance.
He's an MDRT member (Million Dollar Round Table) and Century Club achiever — achievements that don't come from pushing unnecessary products, but from genuine, long-term client relationships.
